Meet our charismatic and inspiring leader who provides daily shiurim and programs for all ages, both in Hebrew and English.

Rabbi Baruch Weintraub was born and raised in Ramat Gan He is married to Pnina, a music therapist and highly regarded musician.

He is an Alumnus of Yehsivat Har Etzion (Gush), completing his military service in their ‘Hesder’ program in the tank corp.

Upon completion of his army duties, Rav Baruch continued his learning in Har Etzion under the supervision of Rosh HaYeshiva Harav Aharon Lichtenstein Shlit”a at the advanced Iyun Kollel. During this time he was ordained as a Rabbi by the Israeli Chief Rabbinate.

From 2011 to 2014 Rav Baruch held the position of a Sgan Rosh Beit Midrash in the Torah Mitzion Yehsiva University Beit Midrash of Toronto. In this capacity he was responsible for the training of young Avreichim from YU towards Rabbinical positions in North America. He was also very successful with the youth and adults of all ages from the local community.

After returning to Israel, Rav Baruch began to teach in Yeshivat Har Etzion, leading 6th year students. He is very intricately involved with the VBM – Yeshivat Har Etzion Virtual Beit Midrash, where he both writes and records audio Shiurim.

Rav Baruch is studying at Bar Ilan University Talmud department, in a special Honors program towards an MA in Talmud.

Rav Baruch joined Mevaser Tzion in Elul 2014, as the community Rabbi. In this capacity he gives a host of shiurim at shul and in his home, devotes time for Chavrutot and consultations with Kehilah members, is responsible for different Torah programs, regularly visits and takes part in activities in the local school and serves as an address for Halachik and other questions.
