About Tel Mond

tel_mondTel Mond (Hebrew: תל מונד ) is an Israeli town located in the beautful Sharon valley, seven kilometers north of Kfar Saba and east of Netanya.

Tel Mond was founded in 1929 by ardent Zionist Sir Alfred Mond, later known as Lord Melchett, as a Yemenite ‘MOSHAVA’. In 1954 it became an independent municipality.Tel Mond today is a growing community which has a mixed population of around 8,000 inhabitants, living together in harmony. The town supports an excellent infrastructure, with good schools, an abundance of social & cultural activities, and a train station nearby for easy commuting.

Surrounded by orange groves in a lovely pastoral setting, Tel Mond is largely an upscale community of commuters and a very attractive place for young families.
